The boy band Seventeen spent the year moving towards greater success, and will close out their career with a new way to push their popularity.

Seventeen will be the first K-pop artist featured on MTV. The MTV PUSH franchise brings fans new content with its selected artists including live performances, interviews, video content, exclusive broadcast premiere of music videos and more each month. In May, MTV featured Seventeen during its Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month special, See Us Unite for Change, with Saweetie, Black Eyed Peas, Jhené Aiko and more.

In the past, the MTV PUSH franchise spotlighted the likes of The Kid Laroi, SZA, Lauv, Lizzo, Bazzi, Khalid, H.E.R., and more. The MTV Europe Music Award included Best Push Act, making Seventeen a potential contender for several of MTV's flagship award shows.

Despite being one of the top K-pop acts in the world, Seventeen are still focused on pushing themselves towards bigger opportunities. In an interview last month, Vernon shared that the group is still hungry and that they hope to go up and up more. The Seventeen act is a groundbreaker for larger representation in the series and is in a position to be considered for mainstream coverage like previous PUSH artists. With their recent signing with U.S. label Geffen Records, and their home in Korean agency HYBE, Seventeen is poised to make a huge leap forward in their career.

More from Forbes are reaching greater success by following their message.

The full campaign with Seventeen and MTV PUSH will go live on December 10.

Fans can look forward to a performance of Seventeen's latest single "Rock With You", which the band performed on MTV Fresh Out earlier this year helping it become the band's highest-charting single in Korea yet. You can see more below.
