NYSE shakes up senior management with Lynn Martin replacing Stacey Cunningham as president

The New York Stock Exchange said Monday that it is shaking up its leadership team with announcements of new president and chair.

Lynn Martin, currently the president of Intercontinental Exchange's fixed income and data services business, has been appointed the next president of the New York Stock Exchange.

Sharon will become the next chair of the NYSE. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission had a commissioner.

Cunningham will join the board of directors of the New York Stock Exchange. When ICE announced its acquisition of the New York Stock Exchange nine years ago, Cunningham first came to it.

Intercontinental Exchange reported better-than-expected revenue and earnings. The stock is lagging the broader market but is up about 13% this year.
