Google's pizza-themed Doodle is actually a fiendish mini-game

Who would've thought that slicing pizza was so difficult?

On Monday, the search engine unveiled its latest design, a mini-game that requires you to cut up a pizza into a number of slices.

It's possible that Tweet has been deleted.

The first pizza, a margarita that requires six slices from three cuts, is pretty much what it sounds like. It gets more and more confusing as the levels progress, going from awkward numbers of slices to asking for slices that only contain certain parts of the pizza.

If you get at least one star on each level, you can progress onto the next level, but only if you don't botch the whole thing.

Why do you like pizza? "Today's interactive doodle celebrates one of the world's most popular dishes--pizza!" reads the description. The UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity inscribed the Neapolitan 'Pizzaiuolo' on this day in 2007.

You're probably going to end up confused, hungry, or both if you give the game a go.
