Ghislaine Maxwell’s handbook for Jeffrey Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion revealed by prosecutors

There are tissues in New York. Check. There are new batteries for the flashlight. Check. A gun is in a drawer. Check.

Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, hanged himself in jail after being charged with sex traffickers and child molesting.

He was a stickler for detail and relied on Ghislaine to make sure everything was in place.

The household ran with precision and order that waslied the depravity and abuse that was at the center of the gated house of horrors.

From the brand of canned tomatoes in the kitchen pantry of the Palm Beach mansion to the level of fuel in all the compound's vehicles, to the temperature of the water in the palm tree-surrounded swimming pool, it was alleged that Maxwell was involved.

The use of a 58-page handbook for staff to make $18.6 million was one of the many details that came to light last week in the federal trial of Maxwell.

The handbook was written by a witness who was the house manager for more than a decade.

It was a lot of work. The house manager said it was very busy.

Changing the sheets in his room, changing the sheets in all the guest rooms, preparing food, shopping, and taking care of the cars are just some of the things that have to be done. Make sure the cars were clean. Make sure the cars have money in them. The cars have to be clean. He run the house like a five-star hotel.

The manual he worked from was very detailed. The bathroom was to have drugstore items like White Rain and Secret. The book detailed that a hand towel was needed in the massage room.

The staff was told how to clean the bathroom, and how to put the dirty bathmat in the tub or shower stall. After removing the bathmat, rinse the bower stall with hot water. The shower walls are dry. Remove shower curtain. The curtain should be placed outside of the tub. The guide said to arrange the curtain in pleats.

There were latex gloves, six bananas, eight ripe tomatoes, Cheetos, and an assortment of Barilla pasta on the shopping list.

Toothpaste in the master bedroom needed to be replaced if half the tube was empty. If the tissues were less than a third full, they would be thrown away.

All open packets must be replaced after each visit.

They said that discretion was even more important. There was a lot to be discreet about.

There were photos of topless women around the property, or actual topless women hanging around the pool. He said at least two of the women were under the age of 18.

He was told to wash the sex toys by hand.

In testimony, the long-time employee recalled finding a large dildo. I put the dildo in the closet and put my gloves on.

The woman who testified about the sexual abuse she suffered when she was 14 said that the contents of the basket were in line with her testimony.

Sex toys and massage devices were used in the abuse, according to the witness.

Prosecutor Alison Moe said that the daily massages were a ruse.

The massage rooms at the Palm Beach villa and the Manhattan mansion were filled with photographs of naked females, according to the opening statement. Every single day, he brought girls into his massage room. Sexual abuse was happening inside those massage rooms. It was a ruse to get young girls to touch Epstein, an excuse for him to touch the girls.

The handbook made it clear that the privacy of the guests and their owners should be left to the discretion of the handbook.

Unless otherwise instructed, never tell anyone where Mr and Ms Maxwell are. If the caller is willing to listen, you can simply ask for a message, a time and a number. Don't be bullied and don't show impatience, just be firm.

Ms Maxwell should be advised of any strange calls.

Ms Maxwell should be aware of any strange behavior around the property.

The entrance gates to the property must be closed when Mr Epstein isn't in residence.

The security of the house and of Mr Epstein, Ms Maxwell and their guests should be uppermost in your mind.

The handbook and other rules were used to establish a climate of silence and secrecy, according to prosecutors. When he was questioned on the stand, he said as much.

Mr. Alessi, what did you know about the rule when Ms. Maxwell gave you the booklet? "What do you think?"

It means that I was supposed to be dumb and blind to say nothing of their lies. It was degrading to me, but I apologize. Most of the pages were just amazing to me.
