The New York Giants lost to the Miami Dolphins 20-9 on Sunday, with quarterback Mike Glennon suffering a concussion.
It is not known when it happened. Glennon was evaluated for a concussion after spiking the ball before a field goal attempt on the Giants' final offensive play.
Daniel Jones was inactive because of a neck strain. Jones is still not cleared for contact. Even though he was on the field Sunday running through an extensive workout, it is not known if he will be able to return.
Jones hurt his neck on the second play of the game against the Eagles. He finished that game as well.
Jones is going to meet with doctors again on Monday.
All of the players will have a checkup after the game. Daniel will be like that. I'll check with the doctors on Monday. They'll continue to evaluate him and when they think he's ready to play full, we'll have them out there playing.
If neither Glennon nor Jones are cleared for the game, Jake Fromm could be in line to start next week against the Los Angeles Clippers, as the only other quarterback on the team's active roster.
The Giants have a former Michigan State quarterback on their practice squad.
Glennon threw an intercept in the Giants' loss. He was fired three times.
