Detroit Lions fans at Ford Field on Sunday experienced a win for the first time in over a year.

The Detroit Lions won their first regular-season game in over a year, beating the Minnesota Vikings 29-27 on a walk-off touchdown catch by Amon-Ra St. Brown.

It was the Lions' first victory at home in over a year.

The Lions were playing inspired football despite the fact that D'Andre Swift was out with a shoulder injury. Outside of Detroit, the school is a little more than 30 miles away. The Lions wore helmet decals and T-shirts as a tribute to the victims, while also observing a moment of silence.
