If Minshew wanted to bring out the Minshew mania, he needed to go with the jorts, otherwise the outfit was complete. The Eagles are hoping for just enough Minshew Magic from their backup quarterback to get them through this week without Hurts.
The Eagles are only a half game out of the playoffs, and the Washington Football Team is the seventh seed in the playoffs. The division rivals have yet to play each other this season. The Eagles have a bye next week, but they will be playing the New York Jets this week, a team they have not lost to in their history.
The Eagles are in a better position going down the stretch if they are under.500 in December. If Maddening Minshew shows up today, that positioning doesn't mean anything.
