A human named Andy Chanley has been a radio commentator for 32 years. "I may be a robot, but I still love to rock," says the robot DJ named ANDY, derived from Artificial Neural Disk-JockeY, in Chanley's voice, during a demonstration for the news agency. Our phones, speakers, and rice cooker have been talking to us, but their voices are robotic. WellSaid Labs says it has made it easier to create over 50 real human voice avatars like ANDY, where the producer just needs to type in text to create the narration.

WellSaid manages the commercial agreements according to the voice owner's requests, according to the head of growth at WellSaid. WellSaid voice avatars are doing more than DJ work. Ramirez said that they are used in corporate training material.

According to the article, Andy Chanley discovered he had Stage 2 lymphoma while he was recording his voice. While he recovered, Chanley was happy to know that his voice could still be heard by his children and grandchildren, and that the sound of his voice could still support his family.
