The new SilverKris lounge is at Changi.
I have about 4 hours of transit at Changi. You can go to a restricted area if you arrive from a different area.
There are restrictions on the movement of transit passengers from France, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, as well as Category IV countries. Please visit this link to learn more about the transit restrictions.
The rule applies to all airlines that serve Singapore Changi.
I was prepared for the worst case scenario to go to a confined transit area which is at a gate hold area because I wasn't aware of the rules before departure. The report was reported by Loyaltylobby. The passengers on the flight were allowed to be free at transit after landing. Some countries are not allowed to freely transit.
The SilverKris Lounge opened a few weeks ago.
The old SilverKris Lounge was replaced by the lounge. There are a few sections on the 3rd floor.
There are many shower rooms.
Food can be ordered by scanning the code on the table. The food is served individually.

The section is temporary.
The lounge staff told me that the Private Room and First Class Lounge are being renovated and that a temporary First Class Lounge is located inside the new SilverKris Lounge. I took a few pictures of it.
The First Class Lounge has everything SilverKris Lounge has to offer. There is a small bar and waiter service.
The temporary First Class area will become part of the SilverKris Lounge once the renovated First Class lounge opens.
My opinion.
The SilverKris lounge experience was positive and it wasn't crowded during my transit. The lounge staff told me that the peak hours are in the morning and late evening.
There is currently no rest area for long transit passengers. The staff told me they are still under construction. The Private Room was missing this in the past.
I hope the buffet will return and more drinks and snacks will be available.
