A video shows Donald Trump calling the US's top military officer a "fuck" during a speech at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday night.
The crowd at the event cheered when Trump criticized Gen. Mark Milley for his role in the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The former president said that he wanted every nut, bolt, and screw when the troops leave. All the tents were left. They left everything.
Trump told the crowd what he would have done. He wondered if they could have flown in a few hundred pilots and flown the planes out.
Trump said he would never forget Milley saying to him, "Sir, sir." It's cheaper to leave the equipment than to bring it.
The former president said that the US left behind expensive airplanes and a helicopter. He said that many of them were brand new.
As US troops left Afghanistan, 73 aircraft, nearly 100 vehicles, and other equipment were abandoned.

The former president impersonated Milley for the second time, saying: "'Yes, sir, we think it's cheaper, sir'."
"That's when I realized he was a terrible person," Trump said.
The former president has criticized Milley before. Trump accused him of making "sad and pathetic statements" about Critical Race Theory. Insider reported last month that he said that Milley should be tried for treason for calling his Chinese counterpart.
According to a book by The Wall Street Journal reporter, the pair got into a shouting match over protests for racial justice. The exchange was denied as fake news by Trump.
