In an effort to avoid further suspensions like the ones given to Antonio Brown and Mike Edwards, the league called multiple teams to inquire if players who had gotten the vaccine had been at the team's training facility or not.

League officials want to know if any other players have misrepresented their vaccination status. Some teams have warned players about the severity of the offense if they use fake vaccination cards.

The league wants to make sure no other players attempt to game the system, since there are no active investigations over fake vaccination cards.

Bruce Arians, the coach of the Buccaneers, called for the league to take stronger action.

There's more to the story, according to the coach. I hope they don't stop looking.

Sources said that the league wanted to suspend Brown and Edwards up to eight games for their actions. The league wanted to suspend each player for six to eight games.

Three players were disciplined this past week and the two sides were able to agree on three-game suspensions. The players were suspended for three games, with each of them waiving their right to appeal.

Others in the league think that this will not be the last player suspended for their vaccination status.

If a player tried to use a fake vaccination card, he would be in danger of being investigated by the federal government, which would be worse than the punishment the NFL could impose.
