The first trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse just dropped, revealing both the title and the sequel's title, but also the fact that the upcoming adventures of Miles Morales will be a two-part film.
The trailer shows Miles lying in bed, before a portal to Gwen Stacy opens in the universe.
The animation of the original film is already stellar, so it seems like Across the Spider-Verse is going to try to duplicate it.

The sequel will transport Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.
It appears that the movie is about a villain who is related to the Spider-People in the Spider-Verse comic, although it is possible that the movie is about a villain who is not related to the Spider-People.
The first part of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released in October of 2022, followed by the second part in the fall of 2023.
