Activision Blizzard won’t play a part at The Game Awards this year

The Game Awards.

The executive producer and host of The Game Awards sent out a message to confirm that the company won't be a part of this year's awards. There are claims about the company's toxic culture and Bobby Kotick's history of abuse and harassment.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Keighley mentioned that he was considering how tonavigate the situation with the company without harming its developers or employees.

The Game Awards may still be influenced by the influence of the company. The Game Awards board of advisors is chaired by the president of the company. The board doesn't have a say in which games receive nominations and awards, but it still helps guide and advance the mission of The Game Awards.

There is no place for harassment in any company or community.
