One of the big shows that was on at the time was Raised by Wolves. The show was renewed for a second season just a few episodes into its first season, despite some finding it a bit boring. The first trailer for the second season of the show looks pretty weird, since it was directed by Ridley Scott, who is an executive producer on the show.
Mother (Amanda Collin) is covered in blood at the end of the trailer as she muses, "Perhaps we are becoming too human." At the end of the first season, Mother gave birth to a snake baby that is somewhere on the planet and gets no mention in the trailer, save for a snake painting on a mug. The family consisting of Mother, Father, and their kids are all part of an Atheist society that is formed in the Tropical Zone. Marcus is changing into one of the creatures that the family encountered during the first season, so whatever paradise they think exists here won't last long. He will be using violence in his quest to bring purity to Kepler.
I missed out on Wolves when it first aired, but the trailer does a good job of showing the show, so I am interested in checking it out closer to its February premiere. Outside of its tone, it looks really good, something you can always count on for a genre drama on the cable network. I'll sign you up for that in a couple of months.
