It's a big blow for the Hornets, as all four players are part of the team's rotation, with Ball and Rozier among their top three scorers.

Ball has been the driving force behind the team's success. He's averaged a team-high 20 points along with 8.3 assists, 7.7 rebound and 1.9 steals across 24 games as Charlotte has compiled a 13-11 record in pursuit of its first playoff berth since 2016

The reigning NBA rookies of the year rank sixth in FiveThirtyEight's WAR metric.

Rozier is third on the Hornets in scoring with 18.7 points per game and is also averaging 3.6 dimes, 3.5 boards and 1.3 swipeds in 19 appearances.

The frontcourt rotation includes Plumlee and McDaniels.

The rest of the staff and players were sent home by the Hornets while they waited for further information about the possibility of more positive test results.

The NBA requires eight players to play a game, and Charlotte has enough players to do that.

There is a mandatory 10-day quark after a confirmed positive test. The minimum absence for Hornets players would be five games.

The NBA has not been forced to delay any games because of the coronaviruses.

The Charlotte Hornets lost to the Milwaukee Bucks 127-125.
