According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the general manager of the Philadelphia Eagles is less confident in Hurts as the team's starting quarterback next season.
The report comes after Hurts threw three picks in a loss to the Giants.
The Eagles are 4-7 this season, and Hurts has been inconsistent. The Alabama and Oklahoma product has struggled in the passing game, completing 60.1 percent of his passes for 2,435 yards and 13 touchdown.
It's not hard to see why Roseman and Lurie are not on the same page.

The young signal-caller has excelled on the ground, rushing for 695 yards and eight scores on 122 carries. He has thrived in a rushing offense that has been tailored to him, and an NFL executive told Mike Sando of The Athletic that Hurts is the most athletic player on the field.
The Eagles are less likely to pursue a big-name quarterback such as Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson or Rodgers because of Ian Rapoport's report that Hurts had the Eagles encouraged by his progress. Roseman's reported feelings could be reactionary.
The Eagles could try to trade for one of those quarterbacks if they want to move on from Hurts. One of the three first-round draft picks could be used to pick a signal-caller.
Ole Miss' Matt Corral, Pittsburgh's Kenny Pickett, Liberty's Malik Willis, and North Carolina's Sam Howell are intriguing options if you're looking for a quarterback in the upcoming draft.
Hurts has five more games to impress both Roseman and Lurie. Maybe it will be enough for him to get a job in 2022.
