Elon Musk says the first Tesla Cybertrucks will have 4 motors and be able to 'drive diagonally like a crab'

For a while now, the company has said that it will have a Cybertruck soon. Musk has teased features of the future pickup truck despite production delays.
The first Cybertrucks will come with four motors, according to Musk. When the Cybertruck was first unveiled, it was said to come with one, two, or three motor.
December 3, 2021.

Musk said that initial production will be 4 motor variant, with independent, ultra fast response Torque control of each wheel. Using one motor to drive each wheel independently would allow the truck to better adjust the power sent to each corner, which would help it tackle slippery terrain. The Rivian R1T, the only electric pickup truck on the market, uses this kind of system.
The Cybertruck will be able to turn like a tank thanks to its four motor setup. That can be accomplished by running the wheels on one side of the vehicle faster than the other side. Rivian also claims that this is a feature of its pickup.

He said that the Cybertruck will have rear-wheel steering and be able to drive like a crab by turning all four wheels in the same direction. The upcoming Hummer EV pickup is called "Crab Walk."

The Cybertruck's pricing and specifications were removed from the website in October. The single-, dual-, and tri- motor versions of the pickup will cost between $39,990 and $69,990. The price for the new quad- motor truck is not known.
It was the first time that an electric pickup truck was unveiled. It's playing catchup as other companies release their models into the wild. Ford says it will start shipping the F-150 next spring, Rivian started selling the R1T in September, and the first Hummers will be delivered this month.
The Cybertruck was supposed to be built in 2021, but now it will be built in 2022.
Musk has teased several features of the truck. He said that it won't have door handles and that it will have side-view mirrors because cameras will serve the same function.
