Elon Musk Says Cybertruck Will Be Able to “Drive Diagonally Like a Crab”

Musk is ready to talk about Cybertruck, his pet project.

He wrote in a twit that Cybertruck is an insane technology bandwagon.

Musk spilled the beans on more details today.

He wrote that he will have both front and rear wheel steer. It can drive like a crab.

Motor mouth.

That is exactly how General GM is selling its all-electric Hummer SUV, which is slated to have its ownCrab Mode.

The Cybertruck will likely roll off the lot early next year thanks to production delays.

Musk said that initial production will be 4 motor variant, with independent, ultra fast response Torque control of each wheel.

The most expensive Cybertruck is bound to be a powerhouse. The tri-motor variant of the Model S has a starting price of $69,900 and a range of over 500 miles.

The company advertised two cheaper versions with single and dual motor configurations.

The exact specifications of the truck are still up in the air. The Cybertruck details and prices were removed from the website.

It's not clear whether the four motor variant will be more powerful or more expensive than the tri motor variant. Musk said that those who pre-ordered the tri-motor variant will be able to upgrade to the four motor version.

We will likely be hearing a lot more about the first Cybertruck when it arrives early in the year.

January 26 is when Musk will give a product roadmap update.

The Cyberquad is a child-sized version of the truck.

Cybertruck will be an "Insane Technology Bandwagon" according to Musk.
