Jack Dorsey’s Twitter Failed African Countries

In November of last year, Jack Patrick Dorsey, the CEO of the social media company, announced that he would be moving to Africa for up to six months in 2020. The billionaire had just finished a monthlong tour of Africa, which included stops in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Ethiopia. He wrote that Africa will define the future. In 2020 Covid was able to hang out with Jay-Z in the Hamptons, and Hawaii, and on a yacht, but in January of 2021 he was considering banning Donald Trump from the internet. Two years and two days after he said he would make his second coming to Africa, he stepped down as CEO. He may have meant Africa. His failures in three of the four countries he visited will have a significant impact on his legacy.
