On an investor call, Brian Armstrong said that he thinks NFTs could be as big or bigger thancryptocurrencies.
Demand for NFTs has soared this year, but cryptocurrencies remain a larger market. According to a research report from Cointelegraph, total NFT sales are expected to hit $17.7 billion in 2021. The total market cap of cryptocurrencies has reached $3 trillion.

The worth of NFTs is still being debated. Digital assets may be the key to the future of the internet. Critics like one who downloaded every NFT in existence say they are worthless and bad for the environment.
