Donald Trump called the reports that former First Lady would not return to the White House in 2024 "fake news".
If Trump were to win, his wife would not return to Washington D.C., he said on Thursday. Trump was responding to a question from Brian Kilmeade of "Fox & Friends" about reports that his wife would not return to Washington.
Is it true that the former First Lady has told you not to run again? Trump was asked by Kilmeade.
"That's not true," Trump said. More fake news.
She was a great first lady. She loves the people and they love her. I see how they love her.
CNN reported that Mrs. Trump was trying to avoid the spotlight. An anonymous source told CNN that she sees her life in the White House as over.
"You're not going to see her at rallies or campaign events, even if he officially says he's running again," another anonymous source told CNN, adding that people like Kim Guilfoyle have the "urge" for a Trump presidency.
Trump said in an interview that if he loved the country, he would run for president.
There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election and the former president is still pushing baseless claims.
He pushed the same voter-fraud claims during a 40-minute long interview with MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell last month, where he expressed approval of the latter's plan to melt down the voting machines and turn them into prison bars.
