Lin Wood claims that he has proof that Tucker Carlson and Hunter Biden have a friendship, and that he posted a conversation between the two.
Wood uploaded the un-redacted and unverified screenshot to his Telegram channel on Thursday night, which appears to show a chain of emails between Biden and Carlson from November of 2014.
Neither Carlson nor Biden have verified the authenticity of the messages.
Carlson appears to thank Biden for writing a reference letter to Georgetown University for his son Buckley.
"Hunter!" You wrote a letter on Buckley's behalf. So nice of you. Carlson's personal Gmail account appeared to have sent a message that read "I know it'll help" on November 12.
Hope you're doing well and we can all get dinner soon. The email continued.
Wood's email chain shows a response from Biden a day later, which reads: "Hey buddy, I need Buckley's CV if you have one handy." Thanks.
Carlson appears to reply "Of course". Susie will be asked to send it right away. Thanks again. It's nice of you to do that.
Buckley Carlson studied government and political science at the University of Virginia and graduated in 2019.
Carlson has made statements about Biden, but his behind-the-scenes friendly relationship with Biden does not match those statements. Carlson made a baseless claim that Biden watches child pornography. Carlson launched attacks on Biden during the presidential campaign.
Wood did not respond to Insider's request for comment, but he did receive a screenshot. Carlson and Biden's representatives have been contacted.
Wood claimed in his Telegram message chain that the revealing of the screenshot was due to his previous threats to sue Carlson.
I will be sure to ask Tucker Carlson about his 'buddy-buddy' relationship with Hunter Biden when I take Old Tucker Boy's sworn testimony. Wood wrote on Telegram.
I wonder if Tucker will not show up for his deposition, like some other false accusers have done recently. Some people don't like facing the truth. Wood wrote that it was under penalty of perjury. "Watch it happen." I will keep you posted.
Wood has been involved in a war with other far-right figures. Kyle Rittenhouse sat down for an interview with Carlson and blasted Wood, claiming that the lawyer kept him in jail for months.
Wood accused the pro-Trump cause of being a deep-state campaign and of pushing the former president's baseless election fraud claims. In October, Wood told Insider that he and Marjorie Taylor Greene were no longer "aligned" in trying to overturn the 2020 election results.
