The UM football team will wear uniforms with a special patch during Saturday's Big Ten championship game to honor the victims of the shooting at Oxford High School.

Tate Myre was a football player for Oxford and one of the students who were killed in the shooting.
Michigan said the patch is meant to honor all victims, survivors and community members. The victims will be honored with four blue hearts on the patch.

According to the Associated Press, the 15-year-old was charged with murder, attempted murder, and terrorism causing death. Crumbley is being charged as an adult.

A change.org petition was created on Wednesday to change the name of the football stadium at Oxford High School. Myre was killed in an attempt to disarm the shooter, and he put his life in danger to try and help the thousands of other students, according to the person who created the petition.

Myre was a running back and linebacker for Oxford. Tate was an honor student and was on the team since his freshman year, according to the team. Tate was a great young man with a bright future.

The Michigan and Iowa will play for the conference title on Saturday. A win would make the College Football Playoff.
