Michigan Wolverines football team to wear jersey patch honoring Oxford High School shooting victims

The victims of the Oxford High School shooting will be remembered by the Michigan team in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Four students were killed and seven others were injured in a shooting at Oxford High School on Tuesday.

Michigan will wear a patch in the shape of a "Block O" to represent Oxford and will have the initials "tm" and the number 42 with blue hearts below it.

We are proud to represent the state of Michigan.

Tate Myre, a sophomore football player at Oxford who was one of the four students who were killed, was honored by the "TM 42". The four hearts on the patch are being used to honor three of the victims, including a member of the bowling and golf team.

Michigan said in the announcement that they are proud to represent the state of Michigan and all of its communities.
