Raleek Brown, a five-star running back, has committed to USC.

Lincoln Riley left Norman to become the head coach at USC and Brown decommitted from Oklahoma.
Brown had been committed to the Sooners since February but decided to decommit on Wednesday. It's thought that was related to Riley's departure.
Brown said that the coach's decision would affect his recruitment when he spoke to ESPN later that day.

"That changes everything," he said. I had a good relationship with the Oklahoma coaches.

The running back is ranked 34th in the class of 2022. He's the second-ranked running back in the country behind an Alabama commit, and the second-ranked player out of California behind an uncommitted player.
Brown is the second 5-star to commit to the USC this week, joining Malachi Nelson, who was previously committed to Oklahoma. The California resident decommits from the Sooners.
Over the last week, Oklahoma lost commitments from Brown and Nelson, as well as 5-star wide receiver Brandon Inniss.
Riley had a 55-10 record in five seasons as the head coach of the Sooners. He was the head coach of Oklahoma for four years and won the Big 12 in his first four seasons.

Riley told everyone during his introductory USC press conference that the school is going to be the mecca of college football. He is well on his way to making that statement, with commitments from several 5-star players.
