Suspect Arrested in Clarence Avant's Wife Jacqueline's Shooting Death

Police say the suspect is 29-year-old Aariel Maynor, and he was captured partly because he shot himself in the foot.

Maynor's vehicle was captured on several cameras fleeing from Beverly Hills after the shooting. There was a shooting in the Hollywood Hills about an hour later.

Maynor was found in a backyard with a gunshot wound to his foot, and the police determined he had shot himself while he was in the house. The Beverly Hills Police Department says that Maynor was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department, but that they had evidence linking him to the home invasion.

Bill Clinton said that he and Hillary Clinton were a dear friend of the woman who died, and that she was a great partner to Clarence and mother to Alex and Nicole. Everyone who knew her was inspired by her. We are very sad. She will be missed.
