The NFL and its players' union launched a review into Brown's vaccination status after his former chef accused the former All-Pro of showing him a fake vaccination card.

The three-game suspension for John Franklin III and the three-game suspension for Mike Edwards were related to the probe.

The three players will serve their suspensions immediately after waiving their right of appeal.

Steven Ruiz told the Tampa Bay Times in November that Brown's girlfriend asked him to get fake vaccinations for her and Brown. Brown showed him fake vaccination cards, though he was unable to provide the false proof of vaccine. Sean Burstyn, Brown's lawyer, told reporters that Brown is vaccine free, and the Buccaneers said they did not find any "irregularities" in their inspection of players' vaccine cards.
