The former governor of New York is facing a federal investigation over accusations of sexual harassment, according to a document released.

The federal investigation was disclosed in a legal services contract between New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and the law firm Wilkie Farr & Gallagher.
At least 11 women have claimed Cuomo sexually harassed them, and the former governor was charged in October with a sex crime for inappropriate behavior involving a former executive assistant.
The New York Post obtained the contract through a Freedom of Information Law request.
The federal probe began in August and involves the possible violation of civil statutes related to the harassment claims.
The Justice Department did not respond to the request.
