Luna Display has a new feature that allows you to hook up a Windows PC to a Mac laptop or desktop to use as a secondary display. If you have a screen that supports it, the new update will allow 4K and 5K resolution options.
Until now, Luna Display only allowed users to connect PCs to iPads using the company's software, but now they can. The PC-to-Mac connection works the same as the Mac-to-Mac option.
There are still some limitations to 5K and 4K monitors, but Luna Display has added support for them at full resolutions. On both platforms, 4K resolution will run at up to 60Hz. Luna Display has an update that makes it a perfect solution for using an M1 iMac as a secondary display.
Luna Display added support for PC-to-iPad earlier this year. Luna Display costs $129 for Mac or PC, with a variety of options available.
