NASA Rover’s New Selfie Will Make You Feel Like You’re on Mars, and Maybe a Little Drunk

NASA has shared a new selfies it took last month, and it is a real doozy.

A huge panorama was formed from 81 images. The entire vista was edited to make it look like a mess.

The Greenheugh Pediment, a large rock structure behind the rover, can be seen in the unique image.

The Maria Gordon notch is visible behind the rover on the left in the new shot. The first Doctor of Science awarded to a woman in the UK was earned by a scientist who studied the Dolomite Mountains of Italy.

The new panorama was taken by the Mars Hand lens imager.

Since August 2012 the tiny rover has been scanning the surface of Mars and has sent back many photos and selfies.

One day, perhaps, it will make the ultimate discovery: definitive proof that Mars was once teeming with life.
