Glenn Defense Marine Asia, or GDMA, was given port servicing contracts for the US Navy across Southeast Asia, even though it bribed its way into these contracts.
He will be a star witness for the prosecution in the criminal trial of six naval officers.
According to a report from the San Diego Union Tribune, a federal judge in San Diego authorized the defense team in that trial to subpoena the production company for all the recordings from "Fat Leonard."
The "Fat Leonard" scandal has been covered extensively by the podcast. In one episode, Francis claimed to have secretly recorded sex between Navy officers and sex workers he paid for.
