The Dallas Cowboys will play the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, and Ben McAdoo will be on their coaching staff.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that the coaching staff's issues with COVID-19 will make it difficult for McAdoo to be in the coaches' booth for the game.
The Cowboys will be without their head coach Mike McCarthy, offensive line coach Joe Philbin, assistant offensive line coach Jeff Blasko, strength and conditioning coach Harold Nash and assistant strength and conditioning coach Kendal Smith because of COVID-19 protocols.

The Cowboys have lost two straight games and three of their last four. Dan will be the head coach.
The Jacksonville Jaguars' quarterbacks coach in 2020 was McAdoo, who has been serving as a consultant for the Cowboys. He was an offensive assistant for the Green Bay Packers for six years and an offensive assistant for the Giants for two years.

The 44-year-old went 13-15 in his tenure in New York, making the playoffs in 2016 before being fired 12 games into the season after a 2-10 start. The decision to bench Eli Manning for Geno Smith was criticized by many people, which led to his departure.
