Steve Wolf, a Hollywood weapons expert, is giving his take on what Alec Baldwin means when he says he didn't pull the gun.
The website, tms.com.
Wolf showed us a gun that was similar to the one Alec is reported to have had in his hand, and it was obvious that any slight amount of pressure on thetrigger could cause the gun to fire.
In other words... Wolf thinks Alec is trying to say he didn't intend to kill anyone, but that his finger wasn't on the gun. We'll see how he explains it.
The first time we heard Alec Baldwin say he didn't shoot Halyna Hutchins, he left a lot of unanswered questions.
The actor is speaking out about the tragedy in his first sit-down interview. There is a lot to unpack, including his claim that he didn't get the chance to shoot.
In a nearly 2 minute clip, you hear anchor George Stephanopoulos peppering Baldwin with questions -- and it sounds like he's asking everything that most everybody has wondered about this story.
People who've sued over this claim say that Alec was not called for in the script to pull the gun during the rehearsal.
Alec is heard saying... The gun wasn't pulled. I didn't fire. GS is stunned by the fact thatAB insists he wouldn't point a gun at someone and shoot. This would mean Baldwin is suggesting the gun malfunctioned.
We don't know what Alec means, but we think everyone will get the answer when the chat airs tomorrow.
