Gabriel: Arsenal defender fought off robbers armed with baseball bat

In August, Gabriel fought off two men who tried to steal his car from his home in north London.

Gabriel fought off a man with a baseball bat, and the footage was released by the Metropolitan Police.

The man who attacked was sentenced last month to five years in prison for robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.

The footage showed Muse confronting Gabriel in the garage of his home before Gabriel handed over his watch and car keys. A second person was not shown on camera.

Mikel Arteta says that Gabriel showed a lot of character to deal with the issue after he was shocked by an attempted robbery at his house.

Muse lunged at Gabriel, who grabbed the attacker. The car was left untouched after Muse and his partner fled.

Muse's hat came off during the confrontation, giving police the DNA they needed to link him to the robbery. Muse's associates have not been caught.

Mikel Arteta praised Gabriel's bravery when he was asked about the incident at his press conference.

Arteta said that it was not a nice thing to go through when family was trying to get into your house.
