On December 1, the price of a 19 kilo cylinder ofLPG was increased by Rs 100 and will cost Rs 2,101 in Delhi. The price of domestic cylinders remains the same.
The cylinders were previously priced at Rs 2,000.50 in the national capital. The price of a commercial cylinder in Mumbai has gone up. In Chennai, a 19 kilogram cylinder will be available for Rs 2,234.
The total increase in domestic cylinder rates since July has been 90 per cent.
In Delhi and Mumbai, cooking gas costs Rs 899.50 per cylinder, while in Kolkata it costs Rs 928.

The Centre on October 27 said that it will allow retail sale of small LPG cylinders, as well as offer financial services through fair price shops as part of its measures to enhance the financial viability of these outlets.
The issues were discussed in a virtual meeting chaired by the Food Secretary. Representatives from the ministries of electronics and IT, finance, and petroleum and natural gas attended the meeting.
