Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is coming to these phones in 2022

The source is Qualcomm.

The flagship chip from the company, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, has a new name and is getting new Arm cores, as well as new features that will allow phones that use the platform to take better photos.

The first phone to use the platform will be theXiaomi 12 in December, and we don't have to wait long to see it. The best phones in the world will once again use the latest design from Qualcomm, as Nubia, Honor, and other companies join the list. The full list is here.

It's called Xiaomi.
There is a person named Redmi.
It's called the OnePlus.

It's normal that the company isn't mentioned here. In North America and some global markets, the S22 will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 modem, which is not on the list of phone partners.

The Mi 11X Pro is the first device in the Mi series to use the Snapdragon 800, and it's interesting that it's included in that list.

The Find X5 has similarities to the upcoming OnePlus 10 series, and with the integration of OPPO finalized, there should be even more. The X80 series is going to be powered by the same design as the flagships from all three manufacturers.

All of the manufacturers are planning to launch phones over the course of the next few years. We'll have to get our hands on the first set of devices to see how the new version of the chip compares to the old one.
