The biggest story in the ranking is which team will get the final spot in the playoffs. There is a strong case for fourth heading into Week 14.
The toughest test in the conference is still ahead with a title game against Houston. Houston coach Dana Holgorsen is a big fan of the Cincinnati team.
According to the Associated Press, Holgorsen said that they are deserving of where they are ranked. They should be ranked higher because of what they have done here over the last couple of years and the quality of football they have played.
Cincinnati's win over Notre Dame in October was one of the best victories of the season, and it should ensure the Bearcats stay above the Fighting Irish in the poll.
Oklahoma State beat Oklahoma 37-33 on Saturday. The team's biggest rival was defeated by the team's quarterback, Spencer Sanders.
If the Cowboys can beat the Bears on Saturday, they will get a chance to win a Big 12 title.
The Big Ten Football Championship is an important game for Michigan, with a win almost certain to guarantee a spot in the national semifinals.
The biggest conference title game is in the SEC. Even though the team has been the most dominant in college football all season, there is no guarantee that they will stay in the playoffs.
Alabama can either get into the playoffs with a win or play well enough to convince the committee that it should remain in the field even with two losses.
There are a lot of possibilities going into the final weekend of games.
