Budenholzer expects to have the injured DeMarcusCousins available for the game against the Hornets.

The veteran and four-time All-Star, who earned second-team All-NBA honors in 2015 and 2016 was officially signed by the Bucks.

The Bucks are without injured center Brook Lopez.

"DeMarcus is incredibly talented, and his size, toughness and experience will help us," said the general manager of the Bucks. He will add depth to our frontcourt rotation and we are looking forward to working him into our system.

Lopez hasn't played since the opening game of the season because of a back injury, and that has left the frontcourt with a lack of depth.

Even if the 31-year-old forward no longer is in All-Star form, he should help in that regard.

He played in 41 games for the Houston Rockets and LA Clippers last season and averaged 8.9 points, 6.4 rebound, 1.9 assists and 17.4 minutes.

In 606 regular-season games with the Kings, New Orleans, Warriors, Warriors, and Clippers, he has averages of 20.4 points, 10.8 rebound, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.2 blocked shots. He won a gold medal for the U.S. Olympic team.

The Bucks signed Javonte Smart to a two-way contract and requested waivers on Justin Robinson.
