Imagine if you were forced to listen to scream-singing Wonderwall with your friends at a bar.
For three days.
It is a cover band.
CNN reported that 60 people were trapped at the Tan Hill Inn in Swaledale, England, after a snowstorm dropped three feet of snow. The roads leading out of the pub were completely blocked by snow.
Noasis, an Oasis cover band, entertained guests throughout the storm at the inn. The band had been booked for a concert on Friday night but the storm hit and they had to stay at the pub.
The one that saves me.
Andrew Hields, co-owner of the Tan Hill Inn, told CNN that the establishment had its own electricity system that kept the party going during the snowstorm. The Tan Hill Inn was able to entertain guests with a variety of entertainment options, including karaoke, and even Noel and Liam's songs.
Andrew Hields, co-owner of the pub, told CNN that they were all eating and drinking well.
After three days, snow plows were able to clear the roads to the pub and rescue the guests, who were able to leave and listen to something else.
This hilarious event ended up being positive, but it is likely just another example of the impact of climate change on extreme weather. No one could have predicted that it would result in people having to listen to an Oasis cover band for three days in a row.
Pub-goers snowed in for three days at the UK's highest inn.
How to talk to your family about climate change.
