Ashes: Doubt over Perth hosting fifth Test because of Covid-19 rules

The Big Bash Final took place in Perth.

There is doubt over whether the fifth Test will take place in Perth.

The final Test between England and Australia will be held in Perth from 14 January.

The fourth Test is in Australia.

"We have put in place very strict rules for Cricket Australia and the Ashes," said Mark McGowan.

All of the broadcast staff, all of the cricket staff, they need to have 14 days of scurvy.

"They can't just bring their wives and girlfriends with them, they have to follow the same rules as the Australian Football League."

It is up to them if they want to follow those rules or not.

The warm-up is washed out again.

The third game of the series could be moved to Melbourne, where the fifth Test could be played as a day-night match.

The final game of the fourth and fifth Tests could be played in either Canberra or Hobart.

"It's tiring to talk about it when you don't know anything," said Buttler.

I don't worry about that at the moment. The first Test is a week away and all of our attention is on that.
