In an interview with Golf Digest published Monday, Woods said that he will only be able to return to the PGA Tour in a limited capacity once he is fully recovered from his leg injury.
Woods said in the interview that he initially thought his leg would need to be removed because of the trauma he had suffered.
Woods posted a video of himself swinging a golf club for the first time since the injury, but he told Golf Digest that he is not even at the halfway point of returning to competition.
One day, Woods said, he would like to play the tour one day, but only pick and choose. It is my reality, but it is an unfortunate reality. I accept it, and I understand it. I don't think it's realistic to expect me to climb the mountain again and get to the top.
