Someone Paid $650,000 for a Nonexistent Yacht in the Metaverse

We are not here to tell you how to spend your money, but we do recommend that you never spend more than half a million dollars on a make-believe yacht.
It happened. A yacht that only exists in a metaverse platform was paid $650,000 in ethereum.
The sale was made by Republic Realm for the metaverse platform The Sandbox. The most expensive asset on the platform was the yacht dubbed "The Metaflower Super Mega Yacht."
The new owner of The Metaflower NFT Super Mega Yacht is a great person. The highest price paid for a The Sandbox Game NFT asset is at 149 ETH, and it is an exciting time for the Fantasy Community.

The digital specifications.

The yacht is hideous, and can only be described as a blocky design. There are lounge areas, a hot tub, dance floor, DJ booth, and two helipads. You can check it out and right-click to see the rest of it.

The yacht is part of Republic Realm's "The Fantasy Collection", a line of luxury NFTs that include jet skis, speedboats, and private islands along with marinas and beach clubs. If you feel like setting your money on fire, there are still lots of opportunities.
It is absurd to drop so much money on a yacht. If you squint hard enough, there are some positives to it. There are no upkeep and maintenance costs for the yacht since it is all digital. If you have enough money to spend more than half a million on an NFT, it is probably not much of a deal.

Finding friends to join you on your yacht is the only challenge now. There isn't enough money in the world for that.
The Metaflower Super Mega Yacht sold for a record $650,000.
