The writer of the "Keeping up with theKardashians" theme song is now a Defi specialist for a firm backed by Steven Cohen.

The co-author of the song "Morning" started his new job at a quant-trading firm in October. Cohen, the billionaire founder of Point 72 Asset Management, personally backed the firm that launched in September, according to The Wall Street Journal.
According to the first report, Lammer's journey to Wall Street has been anything but traditional. He's written songs with Drake and Ye, edited cookbooks, and launched a website for long-form journalism.
Five years ago, he dove into the world ofcryptocurrencies and hosted a show called "CoinTalk."

The managing director of the company reached out to his followers on the social networking site to say he had learned a lot and wanted to chat.
The rise of ethereum and the subsequent so-called dApps that power Defi led Lammer's move into the world of cryptocurrencies. When he's at playdates and birthday parties for his daughter, he often finds himself explaining DeFi to parents in the financial sector who don't know much about it.
Lammer said in a message that his own curiosity drew him tocryptocurrencies. The first thing that made me want to work in crypt was Defi. It's a hobby turned job.
