'Fight for Trump!': The FBI Has Identified 'Swedish Scarf,' A Most Wanted Capitol Rioter

The FBI has identified one of the most wanted perpetrators of the Capitol riot, a man who took a leadership role after storming the building while wearing a limited edition scarf from a city in Sweden.

The man has been referred to as Swedish Scarf by online investigators in the "Sedition Hunters" community who have been identifying participants in the Jan. 6 riot. The mystery of the man's identity has drawn international attention after he was given a unique scarf by former residents of the town of Skel lefte, Sweden.

Danny Rodriguez, a Trump fanatic who was indicted for the death of Officer Mike Fanone, and Ed Badalian, a Trump supporter who was arrested earlier this month, were both indicted by a grand jury.

The indictment doesn't mention "Swedish Scarf", but a close reading shows that he's the suspect. The indictment shows that Swedish Scarf participated in the assault on law enforcement in a tunnel leading into the Capitol and later led a group of rioters who broke in through a window.

The feds say the man told the officers to push the rioters out of the tunnel area. He told the rioters to hold the line. Don't give up! He said to fight for Trump. Push forward! Capitol Hill is the best place to die.

The indictment states that the man known as Swedish Scarf helped the rioters get out of the initial room they had entered and helped them get into a third office by kicking the door. The feds say that Swedish Scarf and Rodriguez opened bags in the office, rifled through papers on the desks, and then removed escape hoods from the bags. He had two emergency escape hoods on when he left the building.

The man known as Swedish Scarf sent a text to an associate that said the people were breaking down the barriers and the battle was starting.

Badalian was identified by online sleuths a week after the Capitol attack. He was wearing a Trump hat and chatting with Rodriguez on Telegram. The indictment says that he wrote that they needed to violently remove traitors and replace them with able- bodied people. He has been released until his trial.

The feds said that Badalian called into the "War Room" show under the name "Turbo" and was followed by a woman who referred to him as "Ed." The Beverly Hills salon owner who went to the Capitol in January is cooperating with the feds, according to a court filing.

The indictment states that Swedish Scarf unplugged the device and indicated that she wouldn't speak out loud when they visited the home. He asked her to go to Best Buy with him to buy a hard drive so he could download all of her files. She was arrested by the FBI after she did not get a hard drive.

Rodriguez, who was arrested in March after he was identified in a HuffPost story as the man who attacked Officer Fanone, didn't give the feds the identity of Swedish Scarf during his FBI interview, but noted that he was from the LA area.

Rodriguez told the FBI that he did not have a Swedish accent. He said that Swedish Scarf went to the apartment where a number of Capitol rioters were staying.

The indictment states that Rodriguez said he would assassinate Joe Biden if he got the chance, and that he confirmed in his FBI interview that he did.

He wrote in the group chat that he did a lot of shit and got away. It was so crazy that the fuck was out of the blue.

Rodriguez is being held until trial. His federal public defenders are trying to get his confession thrown out.

More than 650 people have been arrested by the FBI in connection with the Jan. 6 riot, which was a third of the total number of people who engaged in criminal conduct that day. More than 350 members of the pro-Trump mob are wanted by the FBI for violent crimes on January 6.
