Spencer Rattler is on November 29, 2021.

Rattler started all 11 games as a freshman last season, throwing for 3,031 yards and 28 touchdown with seven interceptions. He was the quarterback of the Big 12.

He was a heavy favorite to win the Heisman, following in the footsteps of Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, who both won the award under Lincoln Riley.

Rattler was benched for the second year in a row.

He reentered the game last year and led OU to a victory. The true freshman, who came in this season, kept his starting job after a 21-point comeback against Texas.

Rattler will have three years of eligibility remaining, after he was the No. 1 quarterback prospect and the 29th overall recruit in the country.

The Sooners have lost several commitments since Riley accepted the USC head-coaching position.
