Start spreading the news, the Green Bay Packers are scary good

The Packers will only get better as the season goes on.

It is hard to think that is possible. The Packers are the best team in the league.

If you want, argue.

Ask the Los Angeles Rams.

Matthew Stafford was added to the team to make it to the Super Bowl.

Not.

The Rams were the favorites to win the game against the Packers in Green Bay.

The Packers won no matter what cards they were dealt.

Many already knew that the Pack won 36-28. This team is different from a year ago, when they went 13-3 and lost in the playoffs.

The team has been very good for the last three years, with only nine losses in the regular season.

This team feels different this season. If you will, it will be bigger and better.

The team seems to come undone. The loss of star players to injuries was not the case. Not the loss of their star quarterback. Not going on the road to play the best teams in the league.

The Pack has done it.

The Packers have cleared the toughest part of their schedule.

They have two road games left, one against Detroit. There is only one tough game left on the schedule, a game in Baltimore against the Ravens.

Some people might say to pump the brakes.

We understand. The Arizona Cards have nine wins and two losses. They had a day off on Sunday. They have a better winning percentage than Green Bay.

The Packers are better than them.

Green Bay proved what kind of squad it has when it beat the Cards in the desert earlier this season.

The Packers were missing their defensive coach. No sweat. The Packers won by a score of 24-21. The Cards were perfect at seven. Both teams were 7-1 when the dust cleared. It was a statement game.

The same could be said about the win on Sunday.

The Packers were missing two of their best defensive players. The Packers are also without All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari, who is still recovering from his knee injury.

The Rams had a bye. The Rams have lost three games in a row. It was a big road win with the Pack hobbled. Green Bay was a home favorite in Vegas.

The Packers can beat you in many ways.

They can beat you with their defense. The Packers are 9-0 when the defense makes a mistake. Douglas' pick-six gave the game a 2-0 lead. He made a game-saving pick in the end zone against Kyler Murray to seal the game.

The Packers can run. It's not just the show with the Rodgers. The Packers have two good running backs in A.J. Dillon and Aaron Jones, who can grind out yards and eat up time.

There is Rodgers. He isn't putting up the numbers that he did a year ago when he won the league's most valuable player award. He is still the most valuable player in the league.

Rodgers was a monster under center after the stinker against the Saints. He has scored 21 times this season.

On Sunday, Rodgers had three touchdown and threw for 307 yards.

In a loss in Minny, Rodgers had four touchdown passes and over 400 yards.

Rodgers is a difference-maker. The Packers are more than just about him. This Packers team is different because of that. It makes them very scared.
