Shocked Jalen Ramsey, Los Angeles Rams 'way too good' to be mired in three-game skid

Play.

We're too good to be losing games like this.

The Rams are currently on a three-game skid. (0:27)

The time is 11:38 PM.

"Go Pack Go" chants echoed throughout Lambeau Field as the Los Angeles Rams retreated into the visitors locker room following a 38-26 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

After the Rams dropped a third straight game, Ramsey stood at a podium and answered questions for 10 minutes.

Ramsey said it was not a good mood. "I can say that."

The Rams have gone all-in to build a roster capable of a Super Bowl run that includes quarterback Matthew Stafford, three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald, Ramsey and the recent additions of outside linebacker Von Miller and receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

The Rams are in the midst of a three-game losing streak, their second of the season.

The Rams have lost by an average of 13 points to the Packers, 49ers, andTitans, and Ramsey felt shocked that they could slip to 7-4, as they had been 7-1.

Ramsey said that he is. We have guys that are too good for us to be losing games like this. We have to get it right. We have to play better, everything has to be better because we're too good to be losing games like this and we're not playing like we're that good right now.

The Rams are 0-6 against teams with winning records. When trailing by double digits, they have struggled, dropping to 1-4.

McVay said he was not concerned that the season may be out of control.

McVay said that they have to stop with some of the self-inflicted wounds. Expect to see some results.

Stafford lost a sack in the first quarter and then threw an pick in the third quarter that was returned for a touchdown to give the Packers a 36-17 third-quarter lead.

In the past three games, the 13th-year quarterback has committed six turnovers, including throwing five picks and three of which have been returned for touchdown. Matthew Stafford is the first quarterback to throw three pick-sixes in a row in the same season since Matt Schaub did it in 2013).

Stafford said that he had to take them all individually. I know that is hard for you guys to hear, but that is the truth. That's the way I see it.

McVay said he has total confidence and belief in Matthew Stafford. Everyone wants to throw out six turnovers, but not all of them are his fault.

Against the Packers, Stafford threw a pair of touchdown passes to Van Jefferson and Beckham for his first score as a Ram and first overall since Oct. 4, 2020.

Stafford was 21-of-38 for 302 yards and three touchdown. He said after the game that his health has not affected his play.

Stafford said he was feeling fine after rolling his ankle in the Week 9 loss to the Tennessee. I haven't missed any time since Back started barking at me. Is the rest of my body all right? Nobody else is in this league at this point of the season.

The Rams struggled to get off the field at times as quarterback Rodgers picked apart the middle of the unit on third downs, similar to the tactics used in Week 10 by the 49ers and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

Rodgers completed 28 of 45 passes for 307 yards with two touchdown and also kept the ball for a 1-yard score as the Packers improved to 9-3.

"Offenses are trying to get the best possible match up for them, they're trying to scheme up things a little bit differently to have us playing things a little bit differently," Ramsey said. They're doing their homework.

The Rams return to Los Angeles to play the 2-9 Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday before they travel to Phoenix for Monday Night Football to face the division-leading 9-2 Cards, who defeated them 37-20 in Week 4.
