My Hero Academia Finally Reveals One of Its Oldest Secrets

Over the last year, there have been a lot of things happening in the pages of My Hero Academia. The war between the heroes and villains changed the larger world and left Deku and the rest of the 1-A kids as the last hope for Japan in the fight against All for One and Tomura Shigaraki. It is understandable that you have forgotten some things that happened a long time ago, but it is weird that you have brought up a plot point that hasn't been an issue in a long time.

The staff of the University of Arizona came to the conclusion that there is a mole inside the school after Class 1-A was attacked by the League of Villains. The attack at the summer camp was mentioned again in Chapter 83. If you're a fan of animation, you'll want to watch episode 45 in 2019. The Hero v. Villain war and the secrets of the Todoroki family have taken priority over that, so the Manga hasn't really focused on that since then. This week's chapter 335 brings this plotline back into the spotlight after things have calmed down for the main players.

Deku and his classmates have been told to show off the American hero Star and Stripe, a hero influenced by All Might after he saved her family. She tried to take on All for One in her home country after everything went to hell in Japan, but it didn't work out. She died, but her quirk New Order, which allows her to set rules on a person or object, wrecked Shigaraki's body and destroyed some of the Quirks that All for One acquired over the years.

After the end of Chapter 335, All for One looks towards the fortified area of Japan, which has been fortified to protect the people of Japan since the war began. The chapter ends with the revelation that Toru Hagakure is one of his agents. This feels either obvious or a well crafted character turn, one that fans were aware of before this chapter hit.

The mole in the League of Villains is finally revealed.

At a time when the kids and Heroes are forming a plan to hit Shigaraki while he is still weak and finally defeating One for All feels like a viable option, Hagakure has deceived them. It is possible that Hagakure could change his mind at the last moment, given how strong the kids' bonds to each other have become with each life threatening event they've survived. It is likely that their classmate will end up being a bigger threat down the line and will cut their knees out from under them.
