According to The Athletic and Stadium's Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski, the Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with DeMarcus Cousins.

The free agent signed a 10-day contract with the Clippers on April 5 after spending last year with the Los Angeles Clippers.

He was given a second 10-day contract on April 16 and was given a contract for the rest of the season on April 26.

Serge Ibaka was added to the Clips for big man depth because of back injuries that kept him out of the team for the entire season, and eventually forced him to shut down his campaign.

If L.A. decided to go small, the Clips would split time with traditional big man Ivica Zubac as well as Nicolas Batum.

The four-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA player has played for a number of teams. He signed with the Lakers but never played for them after tearing his knee during a preseason workout.

The productiveCousins averaged 25.9 points and 11.9 rebound per game from 2014 to 2018). He's been out of the court for a long time due to injuries, including a torn left quadriceps and a torn left anterior cruciate ligament.

The days of starting and playing 34 minutes per night are likely over, but he's still productive on the court during his short spurts off the bench. He's a great asset for any second unit, and the Bucks see the value in bringing him on board.
