The Alabama Crimson Tide won the Iron Bowl 24-22 in 4 overtime against the auburn team, and head coach Nick Saban said it was one of the best wins of his career.

"I remember the ones that we lose most of the time," he said after the win. I think I'll remember this one for the way the players competed.

It was a great comeback. We could have thrown in the towel many times. It's the feeling of being on a team, the togetherness, the trust they have in each other to get out at the end and win the game.

Alabama failed to score a touchdown until the final seconds of regulation to force the game to overtime against auburn.
The game went to overtime after both teams scored a touchdown and two-point conversions, but the Tigers missed a two-point conversion in the 4th overtime to allow the Tide to win.
In the first half, Young struggled, but in the second half he excelled, finishing the game 25-of-50 passing for 317 yards, two touchdown and an interception.

"He wasn't getting much of a chance", said Alabama coach Nick Saban, who wouldn't blame the team's struggles on Young. A calm demeanor, kept telling everyone we were going to get this right.

After Jameson Williams was ejected for targeting, Ja'Corey Brooks stepped up and caught two passes for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Alabama won the Iron Bowl for the second straight year. In the Iron Bowl, the Tide have a 3-7 record against the Tigers.
Alabama will play Georgia in the SEC Championship game on December 4.
